Thanks to all other Jon Shen fans who ignored the naysayers and came to this years company picnic anyway. Many there reported the event was the best cancelled event since the London olympics in 1944, when the English cancellation failed to deter the Germans from flying to the celebration and most of greater London.
The Jon Shen fans in attendance paid daily tribute to their lost idol, creating daily offerings to the man himself. Even though he could not be there in person, he shared his wisdom with the devoted followers. We are pleased to have captured these pearls here, for the benefit of those who listened to the planning committee:
- "Thanks for saving me a glass [of margarita], guys. I'll be there playing [super] smash [brothers brawl] in spirit."
- "NOOOOO not the cheerwine float! It's exactly what I think about."
Thanks to all those who took their time to make the management look truly impotent. The celebration of Jon Shen was truly touching.
